Explore the breath-taking French and Italian Alps. Throughout the week, test yourself on ascents including Col du Galibier (2645m), Col d’Izoard (2361m), Col du Granon (2413m), Col du Lautaret (2057m), Alpe d’Huez (1860m), Col du Montgenevre (1854m), Col d’Echelle (1762m), Colle delle Finestre (2178m), Colle Sestriere (2035m) and more. This beautiful region boasts remarkable scenery, challenging cycling routes and has a record of fantastic weather. Rides take in stunning valleys, pretty villages and awesome mountain passes within France and over the border to Italy. A real trip of a lifetime.

If there is time in the late afternoons, relax in the natural thermal spa of Le Monetier les Bains or stroll the streets of Briancon’s beautiful old town. A place of history and art. A celebration of great food.

French Alps holidays are challenging, and require both a decent level of fitness and the ability to ride back-to-back days. It is a good idea to prepare with some long rides with suitable climbs.
