Diversity of terrain is the reason we host a trip in Girona. To ride these tracks and trails, explore on the bikes each day with expert guides who will take you to the most incredible places and return to Girona with a full heart. That’s what it’s all about. Our fully supported Girona Gravel Adventure is a cycling experience to remember.

Ride out on rolling trails to the north, exploring the Catalan countryside with your guide through farmland and welcoming villages with the Pyrenees towering close by. Head south off-road all day for a glimpse of the sea. Climb high into the stunning and rugged terrain of the Gavarres Massif with its incredible network of gravel tracks. Later we ride west into the challenging climbs & rough descents of the Guilleries Massif for the most demanding yet rewarding ride of the trip. Reach Banyoles then summit Rocacorba for an iconic last day.

Whilst in general the rides are focused on adventure over technical level, there will be some loose, rocky and steep terrain to navigate at times. Ride days vary to take in flat and rolling hardpack gravel tracks, to climbing and descending on mountainous and occasionally rocky gravel terrain. 

This trip is challenging and requires a decent level of both fitness and skill. You need to be happy (or working towards) riding back to back days. 

Your hotel is perfectly equipped and set up for cyclists. A haven to return to relax and refuel. Take time in Girona. Walk the streets, take a drink in a café and watch the city. Make sure to look around the abundant cycle stores and adventure community based shops. Then dinner at carefully sourced restaurants with our like-minded group of gravel riders.

The stable climate, variety of off-road routes and mixed terrain really makes this area perfect for gravelling.
