Sample trip itinerary – Please note each Ciclo Magic cycling holiday will have 2 ability groups where needed. Guests can choose each day which group to ride with. The length of rides listed below are to be seen as a guide. If you have specific preferences, we can work closely with you to ensure you make the most out of your trip.

Saturday – Arrival day

Most guests will arrive on a morning flight to Turin airport and take our private transfer direct to the chalet-hotel. Trip briefing and settle in.

Build bikes & set up hire bikes

Afternoon group ride of 1-2 hrs

Two course evening meal at the chalet

100km. 1600m ascent. To include a classic Col ascent and of course a café stop or bakery for lunch

Monday –

125km. 2500m ascent. Mountain route to include multiple Col ascents and a café stop or bakery for lunch. Likely to include the famous southern climb of Col d’Izoard (2360m). Read more: Boucle d’Izoard. 125km. 2500m+

Free night – loads of choice to eat out in Monetier or try the pizza van!

Tuesday

110km. 2250m ascent. Mountain route to include multiple Col ascents with a café stop or bakery for lunch. Likely to include Col du Galibier (2642m)

Free day. Go & explore!

Thursday

Breakfast

140km. 2600m ascent. Hard mountain route to include multiple Col ascents with a café stop or bakery for lunch. Likely to include Alpe D’Huez (1860m) & Col de Sarenne (1999m)

Breakfast

120km. 1900m ascent. Mountain route with a café stop or bakery for lunch. Likely to include Col de Montgenevre (1854m) & Colle Sestriere (2023m)

Group celebration dinner in Monetier
